The Lighthouse Orphanage Cambodia
The Lighthouse Orphanage Cambodia
Just 15 minutes from the city of Phnom Penh (Capital city of Cambodia) lies an orphanage that houses over 75 children aged 3 to 18 years. The children have been rescued from the street and the pagodas after being abandoned by their parents for various reasons. The lighthouse orphanage offers free housing, food and parental support to the children. Unfortunately it does not receive any form of funding from official bodies, currently the only support comes from donation by locals and tourists. The money and food that is received is barely enough to keep the orphanage running.
The children are absolutely adorable and love to have visitors come to play with them. The moment you arrive at the gates, you'll be greeted with open arms and screams of joy! If you can spare some time, please help the children at the Lighthouse Orphanage. Contributions of any kind are very much appreciated.
